CasStudio provides architectural compliance documentation (shadow diagrams, daylight/sunlight assessments, 3D visualisation, point cloud to BIM) to professional clients in the United Kingdom, Australia and Europe. This policy explains what personal data we collect through casstudio.com and in the course of our work, why, and what your rights are.
We keep this simple because our data footprint is simple: we are a business-to-business studio. We do not sell data, run advertising audiences, or profile visitors.
1. What we collect
When you contact us (contact form, quote request, or email)
- Name, email address, and any details you include about your project (site address, drawings, council, deadline).
When you engage us
- Business contact details, project documentation you supply, and invoicing details.
When you browse the site
- Anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type). Analytics runs only with your consent, requested via the cookie banner shown to visitors in the UK and EU. Essential cookies required for the site to function do not require consent.
We do not knowingly collect data from consumers or minors; our services are directed at professional clients.

We do not send marketing to people who have merely visited the site.
3. Project documents
Drawings, surveys and site documentation you send us often include property addresses and may include names of neighbouring owners as recorded in planning documents. We use this data solely to produce the commissioned analysis, restrict access to the people working on your project (in practice, the studio principal), and do not share it with anyone except as required to deliver the work or by law.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run the business:
- 20i Ltd (UK) — website hosting and email
- Google (Analytics 4, Search Console) — consented site statistics
- Contact form processing — form submissions delivered to our studio email
- Accounting and banking providers — invoicing and payment processing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share client project data with third parties for their own purposes.
5. International transfers
CasStudio operates from North Macedonia; our website and email are hosted in the United Kingdom. When you send us data from the UK, EU or Australia, it is processed in these locations under appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections with our processors. If you require a data processing agreement for a specific engagement, contact us.
6. Retention
- Enquiries that do not become projects: deleted within 12 months.
- Project files and correspondence: retained for 7 years after project completion, reflecting professional documentation practice and the possibility of council queries, appeals or re-submissions.
- Invoicing records: retained as required by accounting law.
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics settings (14 months).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, Australian Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent (e.g. cookies) at any time without affecting the site's core function.
To exercise any right, email info@casstudio.com. We respond within 30 days. UK and EU residents may also complain to their supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
8. Cookies
- Essential cookies — required for the site and (where used) the consent banner itself; always on.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — set only after consent via the banner; you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Project files are stored on access-controlled systems. As a single-operator studio, access to your data is limited to the studio principal.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when our practices or tools change, and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting active clients will be notified by email.
